Is your child struggling to read and write? If your child has been diagnosed with dyslexia and you feel that they could use one-on-one instruction outside of their normal schooling, contact United In Reading. We provide private dyslexia literacy tutoring to students in New York, NY.
In our modern world, literacy is very important to day-to-day life. Dyslexia shouldn’t stand in the way of people’s participation with and contribution to the world around them. Unfortunately, whether due to a lack of training or a lack of time, many teachers are unable to give children with dyslexia the assistance they need in order to develop literacy.
At United In Reading, we provide private dyslexia tutoring to work with your child one-on-one. Individual learning gives your child the chance to ask as many questions as they need while they work in a comfortable environment at a time that works for them. Moreover, the instructor — who has extensive training and experience in dyslexia tutoring — can focus solely on your child’s needs.
Our private dyslexia literacy tutoring will help your child at their level and focus on their specific literacy needs. Moreover, we don’t just teach children how to read and write — we also help them develop their handwriting, spelling, and study skills. We closely monitor your child’s progress in all of the areas of our instruction, and we regularly administer evaluations and standardized tests to gauge their progress.
Even if your child is older, we are equipped to help them succeed as they develop their literacy and overcome tendencies associated with dyslexia.
Our instructor, Tina Bose, has extensive experience with fostering literacy in children who struggle to read. Tina received her master’s degree from the Reading Specialist program at Columbia University, one of America’s top literacy programs. In addition to her extensive education and training, Tina has hands-on experience working with children with dyslexia and conducting research into teaching methods.
